some quick facts about me

I live in Saint Louis, Missouri with my wife and two children.
I have been doing website design and development for over ten years.
I attend The Crossing at Chesterfield. If you haven't heard of it, check it out and watch all of your preconceived notions about church go out the window.
I'm originally from Dallas/Ft. Worth and yet I can't stand heat.
I'm probably the biggest Dallas Mavericks fan I know, which is usually more pain than it's worth. But I can't stop lovin' 'em!
I have an unusual ability to retain absolutely useless knowledge to the point that my family will no longer play any trivia-based games with me. What's wrong with knowing that owls are the only birds who can see the color blue?

here's what's happenin'

Right now I'm keeping myself busy with various projects from BlueSpot Web Solutions and Technology Partners. When I'm not doing projects that bring in dollars, I'm giving away my time to organizations like Basket of Hope, Promise Christian Academy, and The Crossing at Chesterfield.

Right now, I'm expanding my knowledge of Ruby, and have been completing most of my web projects in C#/ASP.NET and JSP. I am skilled in both Flash and jQuery, but have been recommending people make the switch to jQuery (in the vein of Apple and Microsoft).

As for the type of work I thoroughly enjoy doing, with cloud servers and other online technologies currently on the rise, I have been devoting much of my time into advocating the migration of desktop applications to online applications. I enjoy continuing to break the boundaries of what people believe the web is capable of.

I'm not currently seeking out other work, but I do continue to seek out opportunities where I can work in the ministry and use my skills and talents to spread the message of Christ. Is that what you need? Then I'm your guy.

projects that might interest you

These are just some of the projects in progress or recently finished. I've completed more than 300 projects for companies like Quizno's, Hummer, Monsanto, Buckle, Anheuser-Busch, and more. So for more stuff you'll need to contact me to walk through my private portfolio online.

The first few are projects that I have completed (or am in the process of completing) at no cost. I think it's important for the community of Christ to step up and give of their talents and skills to assist people in the work of the Kindgom of God.

These are two sites that I designed and developed for two stellar companies that I love to highlight: one in staffing, one in website design and development.
